Illumination Festival

Illumination FestivalThis year's event is on Saturday 13 June from 2pm on the Esplanade. There are many lessons learnt from last year and organisers have some additional surprises for those attending. To be part of the festival this year there are a number of ways to help.

Pre-sale of the Floating Lanterns are now available. People can pre-purchase a choice of small (20cm diameter), medium (40cm diameter) or large (60cm diameter) floating lanterns. These lanterns would look fantastic in a pool or backyard at home. They come with a charger and remote (the remote enables them to be turned off and on, and also change colours and patterns). People who pre-purchase lanterns can collect them immediately after the RE/MAX Advantage Illuminations Festival. Boat owners
Want to join in? Boaties who are prepared to join the Flotilla and Sail-Past on the day and evening of the RE/MAX Advantage Illuminations Festival. Participation is free. All you need is a boat (motor or yacht) and a bit of creativity to decorate it. Those participating will have a ringside view of the Festival and front row viewing of the Fireworks Finale. Illumination Festival Photography and Video Comp

Local Real Estate Agent Reno Muscat from Remax has generously offer $250 for the best photograph and $250 for the best 1-2 minute video made of the Illumination Festival on 13th June. The winning entry may be used for promoting the festival in future years.
