On Tuesday 24 May at 9am the new Wynnum Library will open in Florence Street. This is a long awaited project which I am happy to see completed.
The Wynnum Library provides great services for all ages with story book time for babies and toddlers, craft, computer lessons for all ages.
Over 200,000 people visited the old library last financial year.
The Library will also have space for community groups to use and people to hire. It will have a new state of the art borrowing system as well as upgraded computers and iPads for use in the library by visitors.
