Russell Island arts exhibition opens for seventh year

The Russell Island Community Arts Centre’s seventh annual competition and exhibition, Metamorphosis, is running at RIC Arts Arthouse & Gallery on Russell Island.
It runs from Saturday 5 September 2026, 9.30am to Sunday 27 September 2026, 12.30pm, with free entry at 23 Robert Street. The exhibition features work by centre members across multiple art media.
The annual exhibition has been held for the past six years, with this year’s theme selected from suggestions put forward by members. The event is presented by RICArts, a membership-based organisation for local artists.
