Bayside Community Awards recognise Wynnum-Manly businesses and community contributors

Businesses, organisations and individuals from across the Wynnum-Manly area have been recognised in the latest Bayside Community Awards.

Businesses, community organisations and individuals connected with Wynnum-Manly have been recognised in the latest Bayside Community Awards, highlighting the people and services contributing to the local area.

The awards included categories spanning business, hospitality, retail, professional services, health and community service. Munja Pizza was named Bayside Business of the Year, while Little Birdie Hair Co received the award for Best Beauty Business. Other local business winners included Wynnum Manly Veterinary Hospital, Bayside Hand Therapy, Little Cedar Store, Scotty’s Espresso and Keid In Electrical.

Hospitality winners were Banette Bayside and Cedar and Pine Wine Bar, which were recognised in separate hospitality categories. Evoxia Physio won Best Health, Wellbeing and Fitness Business, while Vitale & Co Property Management Services was named Best Real Estate Agency Business.

The awards also recognised people and organisations involved in local service and customer support. Nicole Waller received Best Educator (Individual) of the Year, Tommy Butterworth of Little Gnome Bookshop won Outstanding Customer Service (Individual), and Kylie Alcorn was recognised for Outstanding Community Service (Individual) in connection with Rosie’s and Wynnum Community Place. Rosies Wynnum Manly Branch received the organisation award for Outstanding Community Service.

Eliza Beauchamp of EJA Electrical & Air was named Outstanding Apprentice of the Year. Together, the results provide a snapshot of the local businesses, workers and community organisations being recognised by the Bayside awards program.
