Bayside residents can register their interest in attending free Big Brother live shows, with filming planned at Screen Queensland Studios in Hemmant.
A free outdoor screening of The Secret Life of Pets will take place at Little Bayside Park in Manly on Saturday 7 November.

The Wynnum Manly Spring Parade began in 1916 as the Wynnum Ambulance Spring Parade, a fundraiser for the local ambulance service. More than a century later it has grown into one of the district's defining community events, and it still carries a good deal of local heritage with it. The Wynnum Manly Historical Society records and celebrates that history, keeping the tradition alive for each new generation.
