The venue’s relocation follows plans to develop its Wynnum site, while Wynnum Fringe organisers work on a sustainable format for 2027.

The free exhibition at Russell Island’s RIC Arts Arthouse & Gallery features member work across multiple media from Saturday 5 September to Sunday 27 September.

The Wynnum Manly Spring Parade began in 1916 as the Wynnum Ambulance Spring Parade, a fundraiser for the local ambulance service. More than a century later it has grown into one of the district's defining community events, and it still carries a good deal of local heritage with it. The Wynnum Manly Historical Society records and celebrates that history, keeping the tradition alive for each new generation.
