As the Wynnum Choral Society Inc approaches its 100 birthday in April 2026, they aer anxious to recruit more Choristers. New singers who enjoy singing in two, three and four part harmony are invited to join.
The Choral Societies repertoire covers many styles – musical theatre, sacred songs, folk songs, ballads, opera and modern – and they perform two Variety concerts yearly, in May and November. Net proceeds of these concerts are donated to local charities.
Fees are $60 per six month term (20 sessions) or $120 per year (40) sessions, and music is provided on loan. Rehearsals are held on Tuesday evenings from 7-15pm to 9pm at Wynnum Christian Community Church, 161 Preston Road, Manly West.
